Usually the Victorian Cobra Catamaran Association holds it's State Titles at Lake Boga as part of their Easter Regatta but this particular year there was a dangerously high level of Blue/Green Algae which caused the cancellation of the whole regatta.
Unfortunately we had no contingency plan & there was not enough time to arrange another venue so it was decided that the results from a selection of races from October to December held at Parkdale Yacht Club would make up the scores for the 2001 State Titles.
